Honestly, I have been slacking.

I love blogging, why it is not part of my daily life is the biggest question of the day! So many great things have been going on like passing 100 Internet Soul Mates on my Youtube, having a very successful first quarter in my fashion class, and somethings that will be left a surprise until I know more details! I do promise to make blogging a more frequent activity. I have plenty opinions to share, on a wide range of topics, expect much more to come!

Hanging with the girls Anna Sui accompanied by Alice & Olivia; The Spring Fashions of 2012.

I have watched a few selected videos (actually 5, So I will give you two in depth overviews in my opinion & later this week! I have too say that over all I am actually not sure what to set my opinion on as far as Spring 2011 is concerned. At one point I felt like the models walking down the runway where going to head out the door to a funeral, while at other moments I felt like I was living an artistic dream. Texture & Patterns are the power houses for fashion this spring.

Anna Sui-

This collection relived the past in the best of ways in my opinion, With Prints,Patterns matched up with the perfect color Anna always kept your eyes interested! Most fabric was kept thin,wearable, with Chifron & Mesh even making an appearance or two. High waist & heart shaped tops, mingle with belts,sunglasses,hair accessories & bulky necklaces. 1940's style is alive & well in Anna Sui's Spring master piece, something modest yet oh-so-daring. I have but one

Huge complaint to make about this collection, or rather the runway show it's self, and that would be..... 

The hideous sock & sandal combination. If their is one thing you will NEVER see me sporting, it will be this look! SHOEBE!

Alice & Olivia:

I have to say that Stacey Bendet has had no fear of color in any show I have seen her in, and that is what appeals to me. Black, white even neutrals have more life as a color because of the creative designing done in this collection. Sheree, Loose fabrics grace the 

fenamine body that Alive & Olivia is made for. Subtle Belts,texture changes help to push piece into untouchable territory.

Shopping Horrors.

       With back to school looming in the future my mind has been filled with what to wear! With shopping trips gone wrong, and other having more successful all I can say was this years back to school shopping was not what I was expecting! 
      I started at KHOLS,finding adorable pieces that where better yet on sale, well I finally began to check out and hand over my $80 Kholes cash when the cashier informed me that it does not start until September 6, which meant I had spent more then a hour picking clothing it just wasn't meant to be with. Finally Target had better luck for me because I was about to purchase 2 tops, one pair of pants a purse and a pair of boots that I am in love with ( Also they where about $20 bucks cheaper but looked just like the ones I had wanted to purchase at Kholes.) My mom was also able to get me 3 new tops at Walmart mixed in with a long skirt & brightly colored top from Marshall's. I have much more shopping ahead of me, which means another HAUL this week! Give away?

Currently Irene the hurricane is allowing her raft to be felt all over the Eastern sea boarders, here in NY I am feeling it in full force. Her appearance comes at an incontinent time where I want to continue filming but cant because she is taking away my lighting,model or all over energy because I had to do yard work in preparation for her 50 mph winds. I promise that once she clears I will be filming,editing,blogging,uploading like a mad woman, until then enjoy the sun shine, or stay safe!

Just Hit the triple digit mark.

That is the day I made it to 100 subscribers on my ThumbalinaINC YOUTUBE channel. (Click here to go to the channel i'm talking about) I am  so blessed to have these people supporting me through a weight loss journey that has turned in to much more then that. With all temptations of a giveaway aside, it means so much to me deep within my heart to have these incredible souls joining me. DIY: 20 minutes away from new hair & face, without surgery!

    For everyone who is heading back to school,work or just heading home after a summer spent in a far away land the thought of "How can I look my best" might cross their mind. Set aside the cool trends for the fall and look for other ways to enhance your look & treat your body right,the key to this is found in your kitchen. Yes, the kitchen the stomach of the home beholds the key to upping your beauty routine. Recently I took to the kitchen and its sources to give my hair more shine/moisture and to make my face softer then a babies bottom and this is what happened.  


Hair: 
1 Egg
1-2 Table Spoon of Mayonnaise. (Depending on your hairs length/thickness.)
1 Table Spoon Olive Oil (You can heat it to a nuke warm temp. if you desire.) 
1 Plastic bag or Plastic wrap around your head. 
Leave this mixture in your hair for 20 mins and allow it to work its magic! This all natural conditioner will use the protein,essential enzymes and minerals to give your hair all the beauty it had before it was tortured by all the products & heat that seem to have made themselves a part of everyone's routine!  


Face:
1 Table Spoon of cream.
1 Table Spoon Honey.
1 Gram Baking Soda
1/2 of a Banana. 

Mix & apply to your face and leave it their for 20 mins, as this mixture sits on your face allow the fatty acids,vitamins, and minerals to give you a brand new softer then ever facial. 
  
My verdict, an excellent way to change up your beauty routine and keep it natural!
