Give away?

Currently Irene the hurricane is allowing her raft to be felt all over the Eastern sea boarders, here in NY I am feeling it in full force. Her appearance comes at an incontinent time where I want to continue filming but cant because she is taking away my lighting,model or all over energy because I had to do yard work in preparation for her 50 mph winds. I promise that once she clears I will be filming,editing,blogging,uploading like a mad woman, until then enjoy the sun shine, or stay safe!

Just Hit the triple digit mark.

That is the day I made it to 100 subscribers on my ThumbalinaINC YOUTUBE channel. (Click here to go to the channel i'm talking about) I am  so blessed to have these people supporting me through a weight loss journey that has turned in to much more then that. With all temptations of a giveaway aside, it means so much to me deep within my heart to have these incredible souls joining me. Tonight I plan on thanking each and every one of you,I also want to give you all an opportunity to follow me on my other YOUTUBE that gives me a chance to express my more artistic side! DIY: 20 minutes away from new hair & face, without surgery!

    For everyone who is heading back to school,work or just heading home after a summer spent in a far away land the thought of "How can I look my best" might cross their mind. Set aside the cool trends for the fall and look for other ways to enhance your look & treat your body right,the key to this is found in your kitchen. Yes, the kitchen the stomach of the home beholds the key to upping your beauty routine. Recently I took to the kitchen and its sources to give my hair more shine/moisture and to make my face softer then a babies bottom and this is what happened.  


Hair: 
1 Egg
1-2 Table Spoon of Mayonnaise. (Depending on your hairs length/thickness.)
1 Table Spoon Olive Oil (You can heat it to a nuke warm temp. if you desire.) 
1 Plastic bag or Plastic wrap around your head. 
Leave this mixture in your hair for 20 mins and allow it to work its magic! This all natural conditioner will use the protein,essential enzymes and minerals to give your hair all the beauty it had before it was tortured by all the products & heat that seem to have made themselves a part of everyone's routine!  


Face:
1 Table Spoon of cream.
1 Table Spoon Honey.
1 Gram Baking Soda
1/2 of a Banana. 

Mix & apply to your face and leave it their for 20 mins, as this mixture sits on your face allow the fatty acids,vitamins, and minerals to give you a brand new softer then ever facial. 
  
My verdict, an excellent way to change up your beauty routine and keep it natural!

Guys,Gals & The Grab Bag Of Fashion

Tonight was the first night that as the sun began to set that I actually could feel the whisper of Autumn. Fall is knocking on our doors the start of school,warm fires, foot ball games and more importantly to me, FALL FASHION! So I started think what should I expect to see filling the hallways at school, in particular what styles can I call out like two girls about to have their fight in between periods or the couple that just has to make out in front of your locker! I acquired a list that formed itself in to 3 separate categories(Guys,Gals & The Grab Bag)

FOR THE GUYS:
For the guys the main style finds that will surely be the items that give any outfit that extra eye catching moment, the kind you want, or don't even know your getting.

-The College Style Sweater/Jacket: These pieces are the sexiest and modern thing you would think, but in fact its like they are bringing sexy back. These items are literally capable of  turning your entire outfit around and creating a sleek,sexy clean look that ladies happen to love.

Graphic Hoodies: For the days your feeling more on the attention seeking side, try a graphic hoodie its a lot better then getting your self kicked out of class! When you want to rock your own personally designed hoodie or perhaps wear a well know label it can all be done, and done comfortably in a graphic hoodie.

Layers: Layering is key, a band tee with a dress shit top off with a vest can earn you a lot of style points, and even more if you manage too pull off the "I just put this all together this morning & it just so happens it all matches!" Look. Get creative with it because the clothes and how well you look say a lot about a person.

Skinny Jeans: These are an essential in your closet and with good reason,they aren't going away. The diversity that the skinny jean brings to your closet is so crucial. They can go from rocker, to Trendy just by adding a blazer, transform that further in to date night when worn with a sweater, or keeping warm at the big game by throwing a hoodie on top,they are in fact the most dynamic piece of clothing a guy can have.

FOR MY Gals:

Chunky Jewelry:Big Bling is where it is at, and the bigger the better,the more colorful the better,the more fun the better! Rings,Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings will be decorating fashion this fall and will even make their way in to the holiday seasons! Grab them while their hot, and use them to further more express yourself,plus what girl didoes love jewelry? 

Trendy Scarves: Now is the perfect time to use scarves as the perfect outfit pick me up, not only do they add to the outfit they can be worn in dozen upon dozen of ways, making them a fashion must have and money well spent! 

FRINGE!FRINGE &MORE FRINGE!: Its fringetastic, fringe bags,back packs,clothing even SHOES are going going to be everywhere. This beyond boho trend has been taking over for a while but now is as popular as it was in the late 60's-70's. Its carefree and fun, with a hint of rock n' roll! The selections of different styles is so diverse it is almost impossible not to fall in love with every bag you see, it gives you the feeling that Pocahontas had with a new "at the edge of glory" style effect!

In LOVE with these shoes? YOU BET I AM! 

GRRR! Animal Prints! Floral Prints!Tribal Prints! Oh my!: As you make your way through the education jungle or maybe just through the office, or any public place you may notice that you actually do feel like you are in the jungle because of all the animal related prints that are so on trend this season. Everywhere you look their are prints, and it isn't just animal prints that are ripping it up Floral & Tribal prints have made their mark in summer fashion and this trend is carrying right on over with the season. This is not the time to be afraid of design,colors or anything of that nature because it it bound to be all around you this fall! 

THE GRAB BAG!: Now is the time to point out the styles of Fall '11 that work for both genders and instantly guarantee  you as stylish. 

Fedora:The first Unisex item is the fedora, timeless and trendy the  fedora isn't just for the boys anymore. This item has the ability to bring what you are wearing to the next level!

Plaid: Another easy style go-to item is plaid, cute and quirky for the fall and leading in to the winter this pattern is perfect to give any outfit an extra push if worn correctly! Feel free to pick the fun colors & wear it in so many different ways, Shirts,Jackets,Scarves,Shoes,Bags its all a possibility in the Fall of '11.

So much filming in such little time!

Now that my schedule has opened up so much I will now be able too produce the best and most videos I have for a long time! I am planning too have the next two months be the absolute greatest in my YOUTUBE Career. I have been working on filming somewhere around 40 videos to help lead in to the month of  November. I just wanted to take the time to tell my subscriber and blogger buddie that I Love You ALL! and your support is the greatest reward!

July Monthly Favorites.

It's that time of month again, my monthly Favorites are here! Unlike last month it is actually quite the petite haul of items that I just think you have got to hear about. 

Kicking it off is:


Gillette Venus Tropic Disposable razors- Despite the challenge I had with opening the package of razors I was more then satisfied with this product, it got the job done and then some. With the Aloe glide and row of 3 razors their is no reason for me to come in contact with any hairy situations for a good while. Something I really enjoy is the scented handles and how the head pivots to give me the best shave possible. 

Avon: Eye brow Razor:Oh how I adore the ability to keep my already barley their eyebrow hairs under control. I L-O-V-E this product from AVON, its cute,compact and makes taming my eyebrows painless,Enough said!

Avon naturals Nourishing banana &coconut milk body lotion: Keeping your skin silky smooth just  got that much better, the smell that this lotion has is intoxicating and completely relaxing and keeps your skin soooo smooth another fabulous lotion by AVON. How I love rubbing this on my legs because I know its going to keep my skin moist and smelling great! 

AVON smooth minerals liquid foundation:Whenever I want to rid my face of any uneven skin tones I reach for this foundation. Although it at first disappointed me with its small size, and lately I have been feeling as if it isn't as creamy as it was when I was loving it I am still happy with this product! 

Safari Mineral Bronzer Congo: A fabulous way too accent your beauty is with this Safari Bronzer. It comes in shades for those with light skin tones along with a compact set with darker tones in mind. I actually got this as a gift and despite many Google searches and looking at the labels can not find the original creator but just typing in the name seemed to do the trick in many other website that offer this product for sale. 

Jordana Pop Art Nail Design: Made in the USA and I was sold, I love the fact that this beauty product is made right here in my country I love even more its FABULOUS results. My nails look adorable with the shimmer of  "Star Designer" on my nails. I also picked up "Black Mark" another shade to use in my future nail painting extravaganza. (Spoiler alert Watch out for a tutorial!) 

Revlon scented Coconut Crush Nail polish: Revlon and it's scented nail polish have knocked it out of the park, hands down my favorite product of July. I have a huge crush on this Coconut, the chicness of the color and the added scent just absolutely blow me away.   

ELLE Magazine Subscription: I have been loving getting my ELLE magazine in the mail, It's my monthly inspiration of photography and fashion. Flipping through these pages by the pool have helped too make my summer that much more enjoyable.
